Windows USB Drivers

FocusLynx and LSI

The USB Serial cable uses FTDI drivers. These should be installed or will install automatically with Windows Update. If the COM Port is not found try installing the FTDI driver manually from the Optec Downloads page.

ThirdLynx

The Optec ThirdLynx uses USB CDC for serial communication. This is built into Windows 10 and most other modern operating systems. Windows 7 does not support USB CDC without a native device driver. Optec provides a native USB driver for Windows 7 SP1. The driver is available from the Optec Downloads page.
