Update IFW 2 firmware

The IFW 2 supports in field firmware updates. This can be done via the new FilterWheel software or manually.

Via Software

Automatic software based firmware updates are coming the in the version 3.0.0 release of the FW Control software.

Manually

1. Unplug the IFW 2 from power and USB.

2. Open the front name plate

3. Press and hold the button located on the lower left of the control board

4. Connect Power and USB to the IFW 2

5. A firmware boot drive should appear on the system

6. Copy the provided firmware file to the drive
