ASCOM Alpaca is here! With the release of ASCOM Platform 6.5 all Optec Pyxis Rotators have Alpaca drivers for cross platform support. These drivers are fully compatible with existing ASCOM clients through the updated ASCOM Platform. Alpaca drivers even allow you to connect to a Pyxis Rotator attached to a different computer.
Download the latest version (6.5 or greater is required) of the ASCOM Platform. Then turn on Alpaca Discovery in the ASCOM Chooser. After the search is complete you can select the local or remote Alpaca driver in the chooser.
